Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning and depart north toward Samburu.
Drive through scenic central Kenya with views of Mount Kenya and rural landscapes. Arrive in Samburu in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp.
After a short rest, enjoy your first afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, where wildlife gathers to drink.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu lodge/camp.
Day 2: Full Day Samburu Game Drive
After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive exploring Samburu National Reserve.
Samburu is famous for its rare northern species including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich. You will also spot elephants, lions, leopards, and crocodiles along the river.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve and continue game drives until sunset.
Optional cultural visit to a Samburu village in the evening.
Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp.
Day 3: Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located near Mount Kenya.
Arrive in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this famous conservancy, home to the last two northern white rhinos and a major chimpanzee sanctuary.
Dinner and overnight at Ol Pejeta lodge/camp.
Day 4: Full Day Ol Pejeta Experience
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day safari experience in Ol Pejeta.
Activities may include:
Game drives in search of lions, elephants, and rhinos
Visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary
Rhino tracking experience (optional)
Enjoy picnic lunch or return to lodge depending on preference.
Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp.
Day 5: Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart Ol Pejeta and drive through the Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru.
Arrive for lunch and check-in at your lodge.
Afternoon game drive inside Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for rhinos, flamingos (seasonal), Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, and scenic lake views.
Dinner and overnight in Nakuru.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and travel to Maasai Mara.
Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the world-famous Maasai Mara, home to the Big Five and endless wildlife plains.
Dinner and overnight in Maasai Mara.
Day 7: Full Day Maasai Mara Safari (Big Five Experience)
After early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with packed lunch.
Explore different sections of Maasai Mara, including the Mara River where hippos and crocodiles are commonly seen.
Track lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and buffalo across the vast savannah.
Enjoy picnic lunch in the wild and continue game drives until sunset.
Optional Maasai cultural village visit.
Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp.
Day 8: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Early morning game drive for final wildlife viewing and photography in golden sunrise light.
Return to lodge for breakfast, check-out, and begin your drive back to Nairobi.
Arrive in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel or airport.
