Stop briefly en route at the Great Rift Valley view point to enjoy the stunning views of an enormous valley system said to be visible from the outer space. Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch. After lunch we will have an afternoon game drive which will allow spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park. This reserve is known for providing excellent predator sightings thanks to its relatively large population of lion, cheetah and leopard. Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is in the northern extension of Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries where the great migration of wild beasts takes place. Enkorok mara camp

Day 2 to 3: Exploring the Famous Mara

You will be taken on two game drives today, in the morning before breakfast and in the late afternoon. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as they are most active. To get some of the best game viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of the sun. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography, thanks to the beautiful lighting. To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Masai people in their nearby village. Meet these indigenous people and see up close their ancient lifestyle and culture. Take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks. Your driver-guide can arrange either of these optional excursions. Enkorok Mara camp
